Kathmandu, March 30 . The 8th National Games is to be held from coming April 18 to 24 in State no. 5. The date was fixed by the board meeting of the National Sports Council on Friday.
Earlier, the Games were scheduled to be held on April 8. However, the date had to be postponed as the infrastructure development works for the national event in Nepalgunj remained incomplete. Especially, the construction of the VIP parapet at the Nepalgunj stadium led to the postponement of the date.
The VIP parapet is now being installed with full speed and thus a new date was determined for the national games, that has been postponed for several times already.
