United state america, April 9 . The International Monetary Fund on Tuesday cut its US growth forecast significantly for 2019 but said it is still likely to outpace other advanced nations as the world economy slows.
In the latest World Economic Outlook, the IMF said the world’s largest economy is now expected to expand by 2.3 percent this year, down from the 2.5 percent expected in January, but still relatively strong, and slow further to 1.9 percent in 2020.
