Kathmandu, April 26 . The Central Bureau of Statistics released Nepal’s Environment Statistics-2019 on Friday.
The Statistics was prepared and made public in the context of the growing importance of environment related data nationally and internationally.
The CBS had started publishing country’s data/information on environment since 2002 and so far has released seven such reports following the methodology and procedure of the UN’s Statistics Division.
The Statistics illustrates various aspects of the environment in the country such as environmental condition, quality, natural resources and its utilization, garbage management among others. It also includes the information about the environment conditions, temperature, rainfall geological and geographical situations among others.
