Corporate participation in cricket, Shiv Shakti Group ties up with Kathmandu Kings XI
Kathmandu,Sept 13. Kathmandu Kings XI (KKXI), the franchise team of Everest Premier League (EPL), acquired by Tele Holdings Pvt. Ltd has reached an agreement with “Family Oil and Urja Rice”, the well renowned consumable products brand by Shiv Shakti Group by signing MOU as “Gold Partner” on Monday, 13th September for this year’s EPL. Shiv Shakti Group is one of leading consumer product manufacturer of Nepal having business in Aluminum, Plastic Fabric, Packaging, Laundry Soap and Agriculture based products (e.g. Rice, Mustard Oil, Soybean Oil, Sunflower Oil, Lentils and other Edible Oils).
“Sports sector of Nepal is yet to reach the optimum potential. We have seen Nepalese team performing wonders in global arena. As the leading business group, we take it as our corporate responsibility in creating a platform where Nepalese cricketers can hone their skills and showcase their talents and that is why we are investing in the best of league in the country,” said Mr. Sandeep Agrawal, Director of Shiv Shakti Group.

Kathmandu Kings XI is one of the most star-studded team in this year’s EPL with players like Shahid Afridi, former captain of Pakistan National Cricket team, Sandeep Lamichhane- the only Nepalese player to have played in Indian Premier League IPL, Subash Khakurel, Sher Malla among other talents.
The organizing committee of EPL has also congratulated both the brands for successful association and has expressed its gratitude to all the brands that have helped them directly and indirectly. With the main aim of promoting the level of cricket in Nepal and provide Nepalese audience with sweet taste of this gentleman’s game, EPL is all set to welcome the players and cricket enthusiasts at Kirtipur Ground from 25th of September.
