Kathmandu, June 30. NMB Bank has launched a loan service operated by an artificial intelligence called NMB Sapti 2.0. The entire loan process from application for loan disbursement under this service can be done digitally without any kind of manual intervention, the bank said.
This is the first time in Nepal that the loan will be provided automatically in 24 hours and 7 days, according to a statement issued by the bank. Such arrangement has been made as a continuation of NMB loan.
In this service, any person can get a loan within 5 minutes of applying by using his mobile phone without going to the bank. The NMB loan is a short-term unsecured loan provided to meet the personal and emergency financial needs of customers using personal loans considering the current environment.
The bank has stated that customers with personal loan in NMB will be provided loan up to 2 lakhs with a flexible period of up to 24 months. In this, customers will be able to choose their loan repayment period, type of loan repayment, loan amount based on their convenience.
