Melamchi, Nov. 18. Chairman of Indrawati Rural Municipality-8 in Sindhupalchowk district Dhan Bahadur Shrestha was found dead on Saturday afternoon.
Shrestha, who left his home at 3:00 am, was found drown in Indrawati river. Bakhan Tamang, a ward member, said that it is not clear if Shrestha jumped himself off the river or it happened accidentally.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bimalraj Kandel said that a team of police personnel has left for the site to take stock of the incident.
