WB provides loan assistance of Rs 1.64 billion

Kathmandu, Aug 24.The World Bank (WB) is providing loan assistance amounting to Rs 1.64 billion to the government of Nepal.

The loan assistance is meant for the implementation of Integrated Public Financial Management Reform Project.

At a programme organised at the Finance Ministry Friday, Joint Secretary at the Ministry, Shree Krishna Nepal and WB Country Manager for Nepal, Faris Hadad-Zervos signed the agreement.

On the occasion, Zarvos lauded the Nepal government’s prudent decision regarding financial management and reforms.

Similarly, Nepal expressed gratefulness to the WB for the assistance being provided towards social and economic development of the country.
