Kathmandu, May 11. The highest mileage giving scooter RayZR 125 FI street rally has entered the Nepalese market equipped with the innovative feature ‘Connect-X’. The scooter was launched by MAW Enterprises, the official distributor of Yamaha for Nepal, on 4 May at the company’s biggest exchange fair ‘Yamaha Maha Exchange Mela.”
Even though the scooter is engineered to prioritize fuel efficiency, now, with smarter ‘Connect-X’ it will meet a rider’s needs; furthermore, as per the company. The Fuel injected (FI) and BS-VI compliant Scooter was revealed last year by Yamaha Nepal. According to the company, RayZR 125 FI Street Rally is the only scooter in the market to give 58 kmpl in the 125cc segment. Commenting more on its fuel attributes, the company added that the scooter saves up to Rs.93, 000/- on fuel compared to other scooters in 3 year of time frame.
With the “Connect-X” riders now will be more connected. The riders can enjoy five nifty features after the latest technology is enabled on the scooter.
i. Upon engaging the ‘Answer Back’ feature, the scooter’s indicators start blinking, and the horn starts beeping.
ii. Upon clicking the feature ‘locate my vehicle,’ the scooter indicators will illuminate continuously for 10 seconds. This feature is helpful in the unusual scenario when riders get caught in an overtly occupied parking zone.
iii. Another relevancy of ‘Connect-X’ is having freedom from the burden of finding Scooter in busy parking zone. The feature ‘Parking Record’ shows a route map from the rider’s apparent location to where they have parked their scooter.
iv. Likewise, another functionality of the ‘Connect-X’ is ‘Hazard‘. All the indicators start blinking during emergency cases upon clicking the ‘hazard’ button to notify the fellow riders on the road to be cautious.
v. The fifth is the ‘Riding history’. With this particular feature, riders can view the details of every individual ride with the scooter.
The ‘Connect-X’ app is available on ‘App Store’ and ‘Google Play Store’ for the riders using Apple’s or Android’s mobile phone, respectively.
It is a BS-VI compliant with an air-cooled, fuel-injected (Fi), 125cc Blue Core engine and further improved mileage. That produces 10.3 Nm @ 5000 rpm of maximum torque and 8.2 PS @ 6500 rpm of full power.
