Agrawal now new prez of NCC

KATHMANDU, APRIL 9: Kamalesh Agrawal has been elected as president of the Executive Committee of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) unanimously. This was announced during the 73rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the NCC held today at Jamal in the capital. Prior to this AGM, he was acting as Senior Vice-President of the NCC.
A Master in Management, Agrawal has been affiliated with the apex organisation of business communities for the last two decades. Moreover, the newly appointed chair boasts a 40-year-long professional experience in the field of business/commerce.
The AGM also elected Deepak Kumar Malhotra as Senior Vice-President of the NCC. Similarly, from the sectors of commerce, industry, commodity, binational and district, Urmila Shrestha, Deepak Shrestha, Surendra Kumar Shrestha and Nilkantha Chaulagai and Santosh Kumar Pandey respectively were elected as vice-presidents. Likewise, Arjun Prasad Sharma was appointed as an honorary member of the NCC.
In the 76-member executive committee of the NCC, 55 were elected unopposed. The outgoing president of the NCC, Rajendra Malla congratulated the new executive committee members and wished for their successful tenure.
