Govt seeks to launch commercial farming of cannabis

KATHMANDU, MAY 28: Finance Minister Barsharam Pun has said that the government will legal arrangements to launch commercial farming of marijuana. While presenting the budget for the next Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25 in the joint meeting of the Parliament, he made such a remark.

According to him, the commercial farming of cannabis is meant for medical purposes.
