Kathmandu, Jan 14. Shamsher Miya has been appointed as the chair of Central Haj Committee, Nepal under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Miya is the permanent resident of Arghakhanchi district.
The appointment was made following the Home Ministerial level decision.
He was appointed for two-year term in line with Central Haj Committee Procedure 2072 BS.
The committee facilitates Nepali Muslims who set to embark on the Haj pilgrimage to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
