NBI Appointed New CEO

Kathmandu, Dec 17. The Board of Directors of NBI has appointed Mr. Kumar Lamsal as the Chief Executive Officer of NBI with effect from 16th December 2019. Mr. Lamsal, who previously spent successful tenure as a CEO of various commercial banks which include Sanima Bank Ltd, Prabhu Bank Ltd and Janata Bank Ltd, is a very seasoned ex-banker with over 2 decades of banking work experience.
After his tenure as CEO in Janata Bank ltd, he had been contributing to the banking industry as a freelance banking trainer in the core technical areas of credit.
The Board expects the new CEO to further enhance the scope of NBI in contributing even more to the banking industry and diversify products/services to offer for capacity building of the human capital of the banking and financial sector of the country.
