100 vote in 2 hrs at Kaski

Pokhara, Nov 30. Voting is taking place peacefully in constituency no.2 of Kaski. The vote is taking place here for a seat to the federal House of Representatives. Around 100 voters have voted on an average until 8:50 am in all the polling centres, where voting began at 7:00 this morning, Chief District Officer Ramesh Kumar KC said.
Election is taking place through 82 polling centres. Meanwhile, explosions with the sound like that of fire crackers were heard at 7:45 am this morning near the polling booth in Armala Shanti Secondary School voting centre in ward no.
16 of Pokhara metropolis, near the Nawaprabhat secondary school voting centre in Pokhara-9 and Saraswati Tika secondary school voting centre in Pokhara-33, according to CDO KC. The incident however did not have any effect on the voting and voters are voting peacefully. Security measures have been updated and made further stringent, KC said.
