Trishuli bus plunge leaves three dead, 12 injured

Dhading, Aug 9. A passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 7469) en route to Kathmandu from Malangwa of Sarlahi plunged into the Trishuli River this morning leaving three dead.
As many as 25 passengers went missing and other 12 sustained critical injuries. The injured are receiving treatment at Rajmarga Community Hospital Malekhu and primary health centre in Gajuri, said Rajkumar Baidawar, chief of district police office and Superintendant of Police (SP).
The rescue effort is being carried out by the teams of Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Office and Res Cross volunteers. Identities of three deceased and the missing are yet to be established, police said.
