Finance Minister, World Bank representative hold meeting

Kathmandu, June 27 . Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada and Anke D’Angelo, Auditor General and Vice President of the Internal Audit Department of the World Bank held a courtesy meeting at Ministry of Finance of Nepal on Thursday.
On the occasion, Finance Minister Khatiwada welcomed Auditor General D’Angelo and thanked the World Bank for its continued supports to Nepal’s development efforts.
He also expressed government’s commitments to achieving the goals of making Nepal a developing country by 2022 from underdeveloped one, and taking the country to a middle income one by 2030. In this regard, World Bank’s continuous supports are expected, he said.
On the occasion, financial advisor, the Finance Ministry, Dr Ram Sharan Kharel and joint secretary of the International Economic Cooperation Coordination Division, Sri Krishna Nepal among others were present.
