Far western State’s budget Rs 28.16 billion

Dhangadhi, June 16 .Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of Far Western State, Jhapat Bohara presented a budget of Rs 28.16 billion for the fiscal year 2019/20, in provincial assembly meeting today. The budget includes Rs 12.57 billion towards recurrent and Rs 13.6 billion towards capital expenditure.
The budget has incorporated the programmes of developing model village, chief Minister integrated and livestock development programmes with special focus. Similarly, various irrigation projects and agro projects including banana farming and fishery are in high priority in the budget.
Minister Bohara shared that the budget has allocated funds for tourism promotion, cultural heritages conservation.
