Process begins for National ID

Rasuwa, June 1 . The process for distribution of National Identity Card has begun in Rasuwa. The National ID and Civil Registration Department organized an interaction at the District Administration Office here Friday.
Speaking at the programme, Director of the Department Chomendra Neupane said 10 centres will be established for updating the details of the ID in the district.
The personal details of the citizens will be collected and stored while a multi-purpose biometric smartcard will be provided as part of development of an integrated national identity card management information system.
On the occasion, local people demanded addition of details collection centre reasoning geographical remoteness and scattered settlement.
