Taiwanese businesspersons interested to promote production in Nepal

Kathmandu, April 19 . A high-level interaction has been held between a trade delegation led by Taiwan External Trade Development Council and Nepali businesspersons here on exploring avenues for investment and trade expansion.
The seven-member Taiwanese delegation comprising renowned producers and suppliers is currently in Nepal in this connection. The delegation members also said that they were interested in promoting the sale of their products in Nepal.
More than 100 Nepali businesspersons and buyers participated in the interaction, Council’s contact person for Nepal, Darshan Neupane, said.
According to him, discussions were held on solar energy system, bakery machine, food products and beverages, steel sheets and coal, LED lamps and digital display, CCTV camera equipment, face mask, hand tools, construction tools and other manufacturing.
Neupane said that the Taiwanese businesspersons have been holding this kind of interaction in Nepal, India and Bangladesh to promote their products.
It is believed that the interaction has contributed towards deepening and strengthening the trade relations between Nepal and Taiwan. RSS
