Shrestha elected Nepal Bar Association chair

Kathmandu, April 4 . Senior advocate Chandeshwar Shrestha, who was the common candidate of the progressive and inclusive lawyers forum, has been elected the chair of the Nepal Bar Association. The NBA is an umbrella organization of the law practitioners in the country.
He defeated advocate Sunil Kumar Pokharel, a candidate from democratic lawyers association. The details of the election will be made public soon, said chief returning officer Damodar Khadka.
