Rainfall with thunderstorm

Kathmandu, March 27. Majority of the parts of the country including Kathmandu valley experienced rainfall with thunderstorm, due to the effect of the westerly winds today. The impact of the westerly winds since this morning led to rain in the central and eastern parts of the country, according to Weather Forecasting Division.

The rainfall will continue tonight and the weather will improve from Wednesday, according to meteorologist Manju Basi. The weather will become normal in the country, barring for the eastern hills that may experience a change in the weather.

As per data provided by the Division, Kathmandu valley received 14.0 millimeters of rainfall today while Pokhara received 13.9 millimeters, Nepalgunj 17.7, and Biratnagar 16.6 millimeters.
