Indian Ambassador Puri inspects railway progress

Dhanusha, March 16. Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri, inspected the under-construction Janakpur-Jayanagar railway here today.
In course of the inspection, Ambassador Puri also took a ride in a trolley on the railway track up to 29 km.
In-charge of Nepal Railway Department’s Janakpur site office, Binod Kumar Ojha said there was no official information about that Ambassador Puri was paying a visit. The construction of railway infrastructure is taking place with the investment of the Government of India.
Preparations are being made to operate train service from Jayanagar of India to Kurtha of Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city.
