PABSON elects new Chair

Kathmandu, March 13 . The 14th general convention of Private and Boarding Schools Association of Nepal (PABSON) has elected a new working committee under the leadership of Tikaram Puri.
The convention that ended Wednesday elected Puri as the Chair unanimously, with DK Dhungana as the Co-chair, Rajendra Baniya as the senior Vice-chair, and Iswar Bahadur Gurung, TR Dhakal, Dipika Rimal Thapa, Krishna Prasad Adhikari, Tanka Bhattarai, Gopal Prasad Acharya and Bharat Babu Kandel as the Vice-chairs.
Likewise, provincial Vice-chairs are Narayan Prasad Ghimire (province no. 1), Gopal Karki (province no. 2), Bishnu Pathi (province no. 5), Baldev Kandel (Karnali), Jagbir Thapa (Sudur Paschim). Others will be elected later.
A total of 2,438 delegates from across the country attended the general convention to elect the central committee including 25 office-bearers and 44 central members.
