Nepalgunj announces public holiday on Prithvi Jayanti

Nepalgunj, Jan 11. Nepalgunj Sub-metropolis has decided to grant public holiday on the occasion of Prithvi Jayanti on Friday.

A meeting of the municipal executive committee held today announced to close all local bodies, government offices and educational institutions under the sub-metropolitan city on Friday.

The meeting chaired by sub-metropolis Mayor Dr Dhawal Shumsher Rana took the decision to grant holiday in memory of the birth anniversary of Prithvi Narayan Shah who led the drive to unite several principalities to a strong Nepal.
