Transparency stressed on recruitment and selection of workers

Kathmandu, Jan. 8 . Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masamichi Saigo paid a courtesy call on Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista on Monday.
During the meeting, matters relating to the recruitment and selection process of Nepali migrant workers to be sent to Japan were discussed. The potential migrant workers should be selected in a transparent and competitive way by considering the qualification, capacity, skills and efficiency of workers.
Discussions were held to advance the migrant sending process to Japan in a stipulated time by ensuring due procedures, process and mechanisms aiming at serving the mutual interests of both the countries.
