32% increase in revenue: PM Oli
Kathmandu, Jan 6 . Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the economic indicators of the country in the past five months of the current fiscal year were positive.
During the meeting of the House of Representatives today, PM Oli shared the information that the revenue collection was upped by 32 percent in these five months, while the capital expenditure grew by 25.3 percent. Similarly, the government expenditure was down by 20 percent as compared to the same period of the last year.
Moreover, the PM informed the lawmakers that the inflation stood at 3.7 percent. The government received the foreign assistance of Rs 162 billion, while the investment in the industry was increased by 25 percent. The trade loss was reduced by 1.5 percent.
On the occasion, PM Oli urged the opposition to be creative and effective for the solidarity on economic development.
