Community schools want responsible mechanism for fair practice

Kathmandu, Dec 29 . Nepal Community Schools Management Committee Association has demanded the government that it made the school management committee more responsible for the good governance in schools.

During a press meet here today, the Association underscored the need to ensure 60 percent of guardians in the school management committee.

The ownership of schools should be on guardians and school management committee, and the school principal should be made more responsible on academic leadership.

Association’s Acting Chairman Girindra Adhikari citizen’s rights must not be tampered but their presence made visible in the school management.
