Chief District Attorney faces corruption case

Kathmandu, Dec 14,.The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case at the Special Court, Kathmandu against Chief of District Attorney Office, Rupandehi, Kosh Hari Niraula.
He has been charged with demanding a bribe of Rs 80,000 from a service seeker, promising to settle a case.
Meanwhile, the CIAA has arrested Company Registrar Office, Tripureshwor’s contract-based computer operator Purna Chandra Aatreya while receiving a bribe of Rs 7,000 from a client. He is under investigation, CIAA spokesperson Rameshwor Dangal said.
