CIAA arrests Joint Secretary Dr Poudel

Kaski, Dec 2 . The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today arrested Dr Tara Nath Poudel of Gandaki Province Health Director on charge of taking Rs 100,000 in bribe.

The Pokhara-based office of the CIAA Pokhara confirmed that he was arrested from the Buddha Chowk of Pokhara Metropolitan City this evening.

Dr Poudel is charged of taking the amount from an individual assuring him to make through the interview examination taken from the Public Service Commission (PSC) for the post of Assistant Health Worker.
