Bus service from Lucknow to Janakpur

Dhanusha, Nov 20 . Bus service from Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, India, to Janakpur, capital city of province 1, has begun.
The government of Nepal has given permission to two buses for operation of its service from Lucknow to Janakpur. The government of Uttar Pradesh has brought the 52-seat AC bus service into operation.
The bus will leave for Janakpur from Alambagh Bus Stand of Lucknow at 2:00 pm every day and it would reach Janakpur at 6:00 am next day after completing 692-km distance. The one-way bus fare has been determined at 928 Indian Currency.
The bus, headed from Lucknow via Ayodhya, reached Janakpur on Sunday afternoon. Although the bus service was jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Indian prime Minister Narendra Modi the latter’s Janakpur visit on May 12, the bus service is yet to become regular.
