New measure to make cabinet decisions public

Kathmandu, Nov 12 .  The government is making preparations for making public the decisions of Sunday’s meeting of the Council of Ministers in a new way.

Many issues were discussed and necessary decisions taken in this evening’s cabinet meeting but it will be shared along with a new provision for it, said Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota. “The cabinet has met after a long time, and you will be informed about it accordingly through a different measure,” Minister Banskota told journalists.

Contrary to previous trend of immediately sharing the major decisions after the meeting, the details about today’s cabinet meeting were not made public while a new provision is set up for the same. The cabinet today met for the first time after October 28, after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was admitted to the hospital for treatment of chest infection. RSS
