Transaction worth Rs. 3.3 million in flower exhibition

Kathmandu, Oct 3 .The 12th competitive exhibition of Marigold flowers taking place in the capital has seen so far a footfall of 25,000 with a transaction worth Rs. 3.3 million.
The exhibition began on Thursday and the arrival of visitors and transaction is expected to go up until it ends on Sunday, according to President of Floriculture Association of Nepal Kumar Kasaju Shrestha.
The fair is organized with support of the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives of Province no. 3 and the Floriculture Development Centre.
There are 48 stalls showcasing more than 450 kinds of flowers in the exhibition. Marigold is the main attraction as a result of the upcoming Tihar festival.
Floriculture is now carried out in 43 districts of the country.
