Capital expenditure weak; revenue exceeds target

Kathmandu, Oct 4 . The government’s capital expenditure is found weak in the current fiscal year.
It was found that the capital expenditure stood at 2.89 per cent during around first three months of the current fiscal year beginning mid-July 2018.
The status of capital expenditure has witnessed low due to under performance of the federal, provincial and local governments. The government’s current expenditure is stated to be at 10.97 percent.
Likewise, the government has raised revenue worth Rs 163.3 billion against the target of Rs 161.6 billion as of October 3 (Wednesday). It is more than 17.27 percent against the target, shared the Financial Comptroller General’s Office (FCGO).
