Cabinet endorses integrated procedures for concessional loan
Kathmandu, Sept 7. The Government has endorsed the Integrated Procedures for grant in the interest on concessional loan, 2075.
The procedures were approved by the meeting of the Council of Ministers Thursday held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. The cabinet also decided on the name of the recipients of the Civil Service Award, according to Minister for Youth and Sports Jagat Bahadur Biswakarma.
Likewise, the cabinet decided to accept the grant assistance worth 31 million Euros from the Government of Germany for the second phase project of Nepal’s energy capacity and renewal energy promotion.
The fund will be used for implementation of the Lekhnath-Damauli 220 KV transmission line. A decision was also taken to continue with the Freed Haliya Rehabilitation Problem Resolution Committee and the Freed Kamaiya Rehabilitation Problem Resolution Commission, and resolve both the problems within the current fiscal year.
The government also decided to endorse in principle the establishment of a 15-bed hospital to be operated from the hospital building in Dumariya, ward no. 8 of Sahidnagar municipality of Dhanusa district. The hospital shall be named Martyr Suryanath Ran Yadav Memorial Hospital.
According to Minister Biswakarma, the cabinet today decided to support the Declaration of Shared Commitments on UN Peacekeeping Operations.
