Three arrested with 61,620 USD

Kathmandu 29 . The Metropolitan Police Range, Lainchaur has arrested three persons in possession of illegally held 61,620 US dollars.
Amar Sunar of Sunsari, Dhan Bahadur Khadka of east Rukum and Rabi Shrestha of Kathmandu were arrested this evening from Lainchaur along with the dollars, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Gautam Kumar KC.
They were found to have exchanged the cash from a money exchanger without taking approval of Nepal Rastra Bank.
Further investigation is underway.
