No tax burden at NC led local level: General Secretary Koirala

Biratnagar, Aug 18 . General Secretary of Nepali Congress Dr Sashank Koirala has demanded that the burdensome tax levied on citizens must be reduced. The local levels having NC’s victory would not be allowed to levy huge tax, he added.
Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, General Secretary Dr Koirala viewed that cooperation from all sides was imperative to make federalism a success.
There was some discomfort in the beginning of the implementation of federalism because it’s a new system for the country. So, cooperation from all sides is expected, he underscored.
On a different note, the General Secretary said party’s mahasamiti meeting would be held within this year. He also opined that referendum could be an option to decide on Hindu State.
