PCPS has organized first graduation ceremony
Kathmandu, July 2. Patan college for professional studies (PCPS) has organized its first graduation ceremony today at soaltee crown plaza. (PCPS) is an academic partner of university of Bedfordshire, UK. The University of Bedfordshire is a modern, Innovative university with a heritage of top quality education going back more then 100 years. It has been ranked among top universities of the world.
On this occasion 20 students graduated in BSc (Hons) Computer Science & Software Engineering. The results revealed an astronomically immense magnification in the prosperity of the college, as PCPS started Level 4 and level 6 together. Former prime minister or senior leader of Nepal communist party Hon’ble Madhav kumar Nepal graced the convocation ceremony as the chief guest. He Congratulated the graduating students. Founder of LBEF Sri Parmanand Kejriwal Chaired the function. He gave the welcome speech.
At the same time Degree was presented by prof. Ashraf Jawaid, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Relations). Professor Ashraf jawaid has also delivered Congratulatory Adress. Shree Rajendra Khetan, Chairman of NBCCI attended the function as special guest. Along with prof. Dr. Sunity Shresth, Er. Prakash Kumar there were many dignitaries from the academic world, corporate industry, and government of Nepal.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ashraf Jawaid said, “Our first graduation ceremony as a University in Nepal, in partnership with (PCPS) was wonderful occasion. It was great to visually perceive all the graduates once more as they embark on what I’m sure will be intriguing and rewarding careers.”
Special Guest Mr. Rajendra Kheta, Chaairman of NBCCI, took the opportunity to recognize the significance of student success and of instilling hope in their future. Mr. Khetan, also spoke about the challenges that the students will have to face the corporate tworld, and how the graduates can capture the compentivive as well as comparative advantage.
Chief guest former Hn’r PM Madhav Kumar Nepal congratulating the graduating students gave emphasis on development of Nepal Using information and communication Technology.
Founder of LBEF group Mr. P. Kejriwal shared a huge pride in the achievements of the students and the institution, and wished all the graduates the very best of luck for their future endeavors.
(PCPS) group was started in 2017, currently offers BBA (Hons) and BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Software Engineering.
