Chinese citizen involved in gold smuggling arrested

Kathmandu, April 25 . A Chinese citizen involved in the 14 kgs gold smuggling scam has been arrested by police.
A team from the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police arrested Jed Hong,40, of China from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday.
Hong was arrested on the charge of involvement in the smuggling of the gold confiscated from Samakhushi, Kathmandu in August last year. Hong was made public today.
Seven people have already been arrested since the haul of the yellow metal was confiscated. Further investigation into the case is underway, CIB said.
