Youth arrested along with gold in Mahottari

Gaushala, Feb 8.  Police have arrested a youth with illegal gold from Bardibas of Mahottari district today.

Police arrested Kiran Rai, 27, of Dhanusha district with eight tolas of gold, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Bardibas, Pravin Pokharel.

Rai had arrived here from Kathmandu in order to sell the illegal gold, said police. The market price of the seized gold is around Rs 500,000. Rai along with the gold has been sent to Regional Revenue Office, Pathalaiya, for necessary action, added Pokharel.
