Locker service operating against norm

Kathmandu March 15- Locker services operated by Banks and Financial Institutions are found to be against standard. Though increasing trend of public attraction has prompted banks to prioritize locker services, there is no strategic standard in operating the service.
After discovering 14 rounds bullets from UCPN (Maoist) Member of Parliament Lharkyal Lama from his locker in Nepal Investment Bank, abuse of locker facilities come into surface. Government officials has accepted the requirement to bring locker use and operation standards and bring the facility under regulations.
NRB spokesperson Trilochan Pangeni stated that the very case of Lama has demanded rules and regulations on operation of lockers and has taught bankers to operate the service cautiously. Source: Karobar
