Two new branches for Bank of Kathmandu

Kathmandu March 11- With an aim to provide banking services to rural area, Bank of Kathmandu started new branches in Bijuwar of Pyuthan and Bhaluwang of Dang. Director duo Santa Bir Singh inaugurated Bijuwar branch while Director Balram Neupane inaugurated Bhauluwang branch in separate programs organized in separate locations.

Bank is taking various initiations to provide banking services in rural areas with minimum accessible banking. In this regard, bank had signed an agreement with USAID funded Sakhyam Access to Finance program to established 6 branches of BoK in rural areas to provide banking services in joint-venture with Sakhyam. Both of these branches comes under the agreement made with Sakhyam.

Earlier, bank in association with Sakhyam has established branches in Belauri of Kanchanpur, Lamki of Kailali, Rajapur of Bardia and Devdaha of Rupandehi.
