Government preparing energy development plan targeting 10 years period

Kathmandu March 8- Aiming to produce 10,000 MW electricity in 10 years, Government is organizing donors' conference for the development of energy sector whilst attracting big foreign investors towards Nepal's energy sector.
The scheduled Donors' Conference will take place after PM K.P Sharma Oli concludes his China visit. The primary objective of the conference would be to solve energy crisis as well as implementation of decade long energy development plan.
According to the Ministry, representatives of World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Japan Cooperation Agency, German Cooperation Agency and many other development partners will be invited.
