Raid on Deurali-Janta and Lomus Pharmaceuticals, directors arrested

Kathmandu March 4- A market monitoring team led by Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ram Krishna Subedi on Friday conducted raid on Lomus Pharmaceuticals and Deurali Janta Pharmaceuticals and detained the director for not complying with the rates of the medicines as fixed by government.
According to the Chief of Metropolitan Police Range Bikram Singh Thapa, both the companies were found selling medicines for Rs 20-25 more than the government given rate.
Police detained Lomas director Pradip Jung Pandey along with Prachur Jung Pandey from Lomus office. Likewise, police arrested Deurali-Janta director Haribhakta Sharma.
