NC general convention starts
Kathmandu March 3- Nepali Congress 13th general convention has started with the inaugural session being held at Khullamanch in Kathmandu. Acting party President Ram Chandra Poudel inaugurated the session by lighting oil-fed lamps at Khullamanch.
The general convention will chose a new leadership of the party. Presidential hopefuls Sher Bahadur Deuba, Krishna Prasad Sitaula and Ram Chandra Poudel, general convention representatives, party leaders and cadres have arrived for the mega meet.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, various party leaders, ambassadors and various other dignitaries have arrived for the inaugural session.
