50% discount on solar connection in households and offices

Kathmandu February 23- Government is preparing to provide 50% discount on connection of solar in households and offices amid annoyance from load shedding. Government is planning to provide such discount from Participation-based Renewable.

Government will be providing such exemption to personal as well as organization and offices. The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development brought such plan to accomplish local energy needs through renewable energy.

This proposal will be implemented once the Council of Ministers approves the proposal and will be conducted in phase basis across all VDCs and municipalities.
