Standard Chartered revises proposed stock dividend to 25% from 15%; Proposed cash dividend slashed to 19.21%

Kathmandu February 22- BOD meeting of the Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd held today has revised the previously proposed dividend to be distributed among shareholders. Bank has now proposes 25% bonus share and 19.21% cash dividend. The proposed dividend is subjected to the approval from NRB and its forthcoming AGM.
Once the bonus share of 25% get endorsed, paid up capital of the bank will increase up to Rs 2 billion 8 million from Rs 2 billion 24 million.
Earlier, Standard Chartered had proposed 15% bonus shares and 27.11% cash dividend to their Shareholders. Amid the failure to get approval from the NRB, bank was compelled to revise its proposed dividend.
