Net profit of Bagmati Development bank diminish by 20.92%

Kathmandu February 21- Operating with the paid up capital of Rs. 57.5 million, net profit of Bagmati development bank has declined by 20.92% to Rs. 2.9 million in the second quarter of current FY which was Rs. 3.7 million in the corresponding period of previous FY.
Deposit collection of the bank has increased by 43.37% to Rs. 595.3 million while its loan and advance has increased by 7.60% to Rs. 368.6 million. Net interest income of the bank has increased by 10% to Rs. 11.5 million and operating profit has decreased by 83.74% to Rs. 900 thousands. Bank has provision of Rs. 3.8 million and has been able to recover 3.6 million bad debt.
In the second quarter, EPS of the bank is Rs. 5.86, P/E ratio of 62.49 times, net worth per share of Rs. 142 and liquidity ratio of 46.35 times. Bank has risky asset of 15.49%.
