1/3 budgetary expenses on general administration in 6 months

Kathmandu February 21- In the period of 6 months, 35.25% budgetary expenses has been spent for general administration. Ministry of finance divides budget in 7 different categories for strategically defined purposes. In the total of Rs. 373 billion 440 million budget for general administration, Rs. 131 billion 640 million has been spent in 6 months period.
General administration cost has increases despite null-growth in salaries and allowances of government employees. During the previous corresponding period, general administration expenses stood Rs. 1 14 billion 450 million of the total Rs. 330 billion 840 million budget.
