Sagarmatha Insurance proposed 25% dividend

Kathmandu February 18- BOD meeting of Sagarmatha Insurance has proposed 25% dividend comprising 23.75% bonus share and 1.25% cash dividend for tax provision. Paid up capital of the company will reach new height of Rs. 441.2 million once the bonus share get endorsed.
The proposed dividend is subjected to approval from NRB and forthcoming AGM of the company.
Sagarmatha Insurance company has succeeded to earn Rs. 32.2 million in the second quarter of current FY. Its income totaled Rs. 55.1 million and expenses Rs. 22.9 million. Insurance has earned Rs. 220 million insurance premium and paid Rs. 257.4 million claim amount. Insurance has EPS of Rs. 9.04 and P/E ratio of Rs. 105.29 times.
