NOC slashes aviation fuel price

Kathmandu February 17- Nepal Oil Corporation has slashed the price of aviation fuel effective from 12 midnight on Tuesday in view of the falling price of petroleum products in the international market.
With the new price in place, aviation fuel for domestic flights will cost Rs 109 per litre from the earlier Rs 164 per litre and fuel for international flights has been reduced from $ 1530 per kilolitre to $ 981 per kilolitre. The NOC has adjusted the price of the aviation fuel as per the price forwarded by the Indian Oil Corporation on 15 February.
However, the NOC has not reduced the price of petrol, diesel, kerosene and LP gas saying that discussions are underway. Similarly, NAC is resuming fueling facility to international flights from today.
