Swodeshi Microfinance earns Rs. 5.8 million

Kathmandu February 16- Swodeshi Microfinance has earned Rs. 5.8 million net profit in the second quarter of current FY which was Rs. 4.6 million in the corresponding period of previous FY.
Deposit of the microfinance has increased by 58.53 % to Rs. 65.9 million while its loan and advance has increased by 11.87% to Rs. 471.1 million. Similarly, net interest income of the company has also increased by 2 times to Rs. 27.7 million while its operating profit is Rs. 2.4 million which was Rs. 900 thousands negative balance in corresponding period of last year.
Microfinance has risky asset of 12.37%.
